During the evening Soke Nagamine invited Shihan Kevin and his students to a private training session to be held early the next day.

"...Soke's english translations proved most valuable."

Soke Nagamine demonstrates a bunkai application to Shihan Kevin with Sensei Tim looking on.
At the training session, held at the very nice Harrington Waters dojo of Sensei Carlyle, Soke covered areas of kihon, kata and bunkai applications. Soke's english translations proved most valuable.

The very warm conditions continued for the seminar participants as Soke Nagamine comprehensively worked through kihon undo which included bunkai applications. Kata; Fukyugata ichi and ni, Pinan shodan to godan, Wankan and Passai were covered extensively also.
Finally partner work that included take downs rounded off the day. A very enjoyable seminar was had by all as could be seen by the amount of sweat left on the floor.

Our thanks to Sensei John Carlyle and his students of the MKAA for the seminar invitation and their Taree hospitality.
